How It Started
It began with one recipe worth defending.
Legacy Bagel & Deli opened on Main Street with a simple idea: bagels should be boiled, not steamed, and a deli counter should know your order before you finish saying it. That idea hasn’t changed since the first tray came out of the oven.
What started as a handful of tables and a case of hand-sliced meats has grown into a Kings Park staple — but the process is still the same one we started with, done the same way, every single morning.

Our crew shows up before sunrise so the case is full and the bagels are warm by the time you walk in. Most of our staff have been slicing, toasting, and wrapping here for years — long enough to remember how you take your coffee.
